BSP & DevOps Team Lead

The BSP (Board Support Package) & DevOps team is responsible for delivering the core embedded software development platforms, frameworks and build pipelines supporting platforms, products, and custom solutions across the entire RTX business. Platforms include proprietary bare-metal platforms and Linux-based platforms. DevOps includes the tools/process automation that optimizes the software development and delivery pipeline.

As Team Lead for the BSP & DevOps team, you will be responsible for setting the development roadmap in collaboration with architects and our CTO office. You will lead a highly skilled team to reliably deliver releases according to the roadmap in fixed iterations. Your responsibility will be delivery of releases on time without compromise of quality. You will also be responsible for people management of the team. You will refer and report to the Platform Software Manager.

Your tasks include:

• Team leadership and management and team development – leading the team to success.

• Roadmap planning and monitoring and control of roadmap development and status reporting.

• Coordination with other Technical and Product platform teams.

• Identifying ways to improve how we work.


Who are you? You are passionate about leading a team to success and you are highly goal driven. You have an emphatic and good-humoured nature and take interest in the people you work with. You have a background in embedded software and understand the domain of low-level embedded programming and micro controllers:

• Good leadership skills and relevant people management experience.

• Solid embedded SW development experience and good understanding of software development pipelines.

• Excellent English written and oral communications skills.

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related educational background.
