Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer with proven experience in developing clear, precise, and user-focused documentation. We’re looking for someone who is curious about wireless and internet technologies and thrives on transforming complex technical information into accessible, well-structured content.

In this role, you will support the delivery of professional documentation for RTX’s wireless products across multiple industries, ensuring our customers have the information they need to succeed.

The position is newly created, and you will be able to shape the role and contribute to how we work with documentation going forward.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Develop, structure, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, interface documentation, datasheets, and regulatory material.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, quality assurance, and support teams to analyze technical information and communicate it clearly and accurately.
  • Review, edit, and refine content to improve clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy aligned with RTX’s quality standards, style guidelines, and branding.
  • Support documentation processes, including version control, content reuse strategies, and localization for global markets.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize documentation workflows and enhance the end-user experience.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in technical writing, preferably within the technology, telecommunications, or electronics industry.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and structured manner.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools and platforms.
