Purpose of the job
- Leading the onsite team to meet development schedule and quality requirements.
- Oversee the entire product development cycle and collaborate between the internal development team, Program Management, and suppliers/ factories.
- Ensure components delivered by our suppliers meet our quality and reliability requirements.
- Manage project transfer from overseas to the Philippines

Responsibility
- Develop and execute a viable schedule for new products based on inputs from Sales & R&D.
- Following guidelines for the product development cycle, RTX Gateway system, create checklists to track project tasks from kick-off to mass production.
- Coordinate internally and externally to ensure all tasks are executed on time and within the required quality level.
- Secure analysis and corrective action are implemented at the supplier/factory, or in product design, on issues logged during production.
- Ensure related product manufacturing documentations, such as process flow, control plan, pFMEA, PPAP, jig & fixtures, are provided by the supplier/factory
- Optimizing production cost given the agreed production outputs and quality level
- Support activities in prototype, pilot, and MP production
- Work closely and share the information with teammates and other teams and departments
- Verify test equipment and software (SW) needed for production, including but not limited to:
o Baseband test station
o RF test station
o Final or pairing station

Job requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering background
- At least 5 years of experience in EMS
- Experience in working with outsourced manufacturing partners, EMS.
- Experience with SMT process, PCBA testing & Functional testing, Box build assembly, Final test and etc.
- Experience with verification & validation of equipment.
- Experience in root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive action methods
- Expertise/ experience in problem solving with tools such as 6-sigma/ 8-D/ CAPA/ FMEA/ 5WHY, etc.
- Good Knowledge of production/ quality development and control methods; CTQ definition, DFSS, SPC, APQP, FMEA, Control plans, MSA, DFx, IPC and etc.
- Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO 13485, and preferably the TS 16949 standard, the kaizen method.
- Self-initiative, responsible, detail-minded, and customer-oriented
- With good problem-solving and communication skills, a flexible and adaptable attitude.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and CAD software
- Based in the Philippines
- Availability to travel to EMS partners and equipment suppliers in Mainland China and Southeast Asian countries.
- Good command of both spoken and written English
