Business Intelligence Lead

Do you combine deep technical skill with a sharp business mind? Can you build data solutions that are robust by design, and then ensure they drive real business value? We are looking for a Business Intelligence Lead to help make data a strategic asset across the RTX business.

Anchored in the Finance Partner team and reporting directly to the CFO, you will drive AI and BI adoption, and drive digitalization, analytics, and business improvement initiatives, from forecasting and reporting to ERP implementation and process automation. You will be a key sparring partner for the Senior Finance Partner, the CFO, and the wider business.

You are not a pure technologist. You are a problem-solver who understands data architecture deeply enough to build solutions that last, and who is equally at home discussing business performance with a segment manager as designing a data model with IT.

Data architecture & solution design

• Ensure solutions are built robustly: scalable, maintainable, and fit for future needs
• Drive better utilization of existing data platforms and identify gaps that limit insight or automation
• Act as the bridge between Finance, IT, and the business in development and implementation projects

Insights & decision support

• Create fast and easy access to relevant business insights across the organization
• Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards that enable proactive, data-driven decision-making
• Support the Senior Finance Partner and CFO with data-driven analysis and decision material
• Strengthen quality and transparency in performance management and reporting

AI, BI & digitalization

• Identify and implement AI, BI, and automation opportunities in Business processes
• Drive adoption of modern analytics and BI tools (e.g. Power BI) across the organization
• Contribute actively to our ERP implementation

 Project management & transformation

• Lead internal improvement and transformation projects end-to-end, from scoping to delivery
• Manage stakeholders across Finance, IT, and business units to ensure aligned and timely execution

Professional background

• We are open to different career paths. Whether you currently work as a BI Partner, Analytics Lead, Data & Analytics specialist, or Head of BI, you bring a strong combination of technical understanding, business acumen, and the ability to turn data into business value
• Ability to understand stakeholder needs, challenge requirements constructively, and design fit-for-purpose solutions that maximize business value while balancing cost, and complexity
• Strong experience with data architecture and data modelling, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and fit for future needs
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI; you can build, not just advise
• Experience with AI and data-driven decision support in a business context
• Hold a relevant education and experience matching the job requirements
