Strategic Sourcing Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for key sourcing categories within electronics and lead initiatives that strengthen our value chain with a focus on cost efficiency, resilience, flexibility, quality, delivery performance and CSR. You will have the opportunity to influence sourcing decisions that matter and help mature our global Category Management setup.
Some of your key responsibilities will entail:
- Develop and lead cross-functional category strategies and sourcing plans that support business goals and create long-term value.
- Drive end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier selection, onboarding, contract negotiation and performance follow-up.
- Manage supply base risks and contribute to RTX’s overall Sourcing Risk Management process.
- Build and implement supplier engagement strategies that support reliable, competitive and long-term partnerships.
- Identify and execute cost-saving and value-creation initiatives in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
We expect you to have:
- A relevant degree within Supply Chain Management, Value Chain Management, Business, Engineering or similar, combined with solid experience from strategic sourcing, procurement or supplier management.
- Experience with developing, contributing to or executing global category strategies, preferably within a technology-driven or manufacturing environment.
- A good understanding of electronic components, EMS production and the global supply chain landscape.
- Commercial acumen, negotiation skills and experience with contract management and supplier performance.
- The ability to influence, align and engage stakeholders across functions, cultures and geographies.
- An industry network or strong market curiosity that can help identify opportunities, mitigate risks and strengthen sourcing decisions.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and confidence working in an international, multicultural environment.

Place of work will be at our headquarters in Nørresundby, Denmark. You can expect approximately 15–25 travel days per year.
