Baseband Engineer

Main purpose of the job:
· Support hardware development activities within the HW team and complete assigned tasks under guidance from experienced engineers and the team lead.
· Contribute to reliable and producible HW design work (components, PCB, PCBA, and product integration) in accordance with requirements, goals, and constraints.
· Build technical competence through active participation in design, validation, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration during product development.

Responsibilities/Key tasks:
· Support development of low-power electronics for wireless products and solutions.
· Assist in concept evaluation, component search and selection, and coordination of physical interface and outline with mechanical, SW, and PTE teams.
· Support schematic design updates, PCB layout reviews, hardware bring-up, validation, and type approval test preparation and execution.
· Perform lab measurements, collect test data, and document findings with clear and evidence-based content.
· Provide required documentation during the project phase, including support for requirements, interface descriptions, production test specifications, repair guides, and input to product and system manuals.
· Assist in collecting input, maintaining, and releasing Top Level BOM data.
· Participate in design reviews, debugging, and knowledge sharing with colleagues to support team deliverables and continuous learning.
· Provide production support as needed.

Job requirements:
• Systematic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
• Basic understanding of design constraints resulting from cost-sensitive products and volume production.
• Basic understanding of hardware development from requirements specification to validation and production maintenance.
• Familiarity with schematic capture, PCB layout, lab equipment, and circuit simulation tools is an advantage.
• Familiar with the operation of common lab/test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, electronic load) and able to follow test procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

Education & Certifications:
· B.Sc degree in a relevant engineering field
· Technical degree/diploma
